Pia is a compassionate and empathic clinician who uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework to treat her clients. She believes in the importance of family involvement throughout the therapeutic process and has experience providing psycho-education to parents and family members. Her goal as a therapist is to create a safe environment where each client feels respected and comfortable to share their feelings and experiences.
Pia is currently a doctoral candidate in the Advanced School Psychology PsyD. Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she is researching the impact of COVID-19 on anxiety levels in vulnerable elementary populations.
