Services · Individual Therapy

A space to understand what is happening—and work on what needs to change.

Individual therapy gives one person dedicated time with a clinician to make sense of concerns, build useful skills, and work toward goals that matter in everyday life.

Individual therapy may be a good starting point when…

A useful starting point depends on what is happening and what you want help with.

  • Anxiety, mood, stress, or difficult emotions are interfering with daily life
  • A child or teen needs support with behavior, school, friendships, or confidence
  • An adult wants help with relationships, trauma recovery, boundaries, or life transitions
  • Recurring patterns are understood intellectually but still feel hard to change

What the work can look like

The approach should fit the person—not the other way around.

Our clinicians draw from different evidence-informed approaches based on age, needs, strengths, goals, and the therapeutic relationship. Therapy may include developing coping skills, changing patterns of thinking or behavior, improving emotional awareness, working through experiences, or strengthening communication and relationships.

For children and adolescents, caregiver involvement may be part of treatment when it is helpful and appropriate.
